We just got home on Tuesday from a short trip to Georgia. It was a last minute decision for us to go along and we are so glad we did. My brother Ed lives in Atlanta as well as my Aunt, Uncle, and three cousins. It was so fun to see everyone and visit. The boys did better than I ever expected...don't get me wrong, we had a melt down here and there, but nothing horrific. We jammed a ton of stuff in 3 days and I have hundreds of pictures...so here it goes
We arrived Friday evening and enjoyed some pizza and swimming at the hotel. Saturday morning we went for a nice hike through Kennasaw Mountain. That afternoon we had a picnic at a local park with our cousins and families. All the kids had a blast together! It was so fun to see our kids play together and to visit with family that we don't get to see often enough. Thank you so much for putting together such a yummy picnic.
Saturday we spent the whole day at Stone Mountain. We traveled to the top via cable car and enjoyed the amazing views. The rest of the day we spent playing in the park. Some of the group did a ropes course and the rest of us played in the water and the little people ropes course. That night we (minus Connor) enjoyed the laser/fireworks show. It was a long day, but the kids were troopers and we all had a blast.
Still to come Day 3...Georgia Aquarium
