4 Months Old

Anderson turned 4 months old today!  He is such a sweet little guy.  He always has a smile for us and has started laughing...so fun!  He has rolled from his stomach to his back and he has rolled from his back to his stomach, however, he has not done both in a row yet to actually go somewhere.  He loves to play stretched out on the floor, but he is also a little snuggle bug when he is starting to get sleepy.  He gets very excited watching big brother play cars...I have a feeling we are going to be in trouble when he can actually can go grab one from him.  He still wakes up once during the night to eat and then goes right back to sleep.  As much as we love spending time with Anderson, we are hoping once he starts eating cereal this month he will give up that night feeding.  We love this little man so much and have so much fun watching him grow every month.


I snapped these pictures after bath tonight.  He was getting sleepy and not in the mood for a photo shoot, but we did our best. :-)

The Gardens, Music, and Balloon Glow

We decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather Saturday and spend as much time outside as possible.  We started the day at the Botanical Gardens.  We have heard many amazing things about their current Lantern Festival and wanted to take a look ourselves.  They had a lot of dragons and Connor LOVED them.  The Gardens are always beautiful, but it was even more so with the display.  Of course we had to visit the Children's Garden.  Connor loved going down the slide and "exploring" the cave.  Anderson enjoyed the ride and fresh air!

Saturday night we went to a park by our house that was having a free concert and balloon glow.  We saw some of our neighbors there so Connor was thrilled to have playmates on the playground.  They also offered free margaritas, snow cones, and snacks...pretty cool! The band was a lot of fun and they played good music.  We got to be up close for the balloon inflation and glow.  Connor enjoyed watching the balloon go up, but kind of got scared when they started "glowing" because of the fire. What are we going to do with this kid? ;-)

We all slept good Saturday night!

4 Years!

Mike and I celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary.  We went out for a yummy dinner and then headed to the Zac Brown concert with the tickets I won back in April.  We had a BLAST!  Our seats were in the front row, the music was great, and we enjoyed a much needed night out.  Happy anniversary Michael!  I love you so much!

Mike and I were really looking forward to moshing...so you can imagine how disappointed we were to see the above sign
