Ambush!!

Connor and some of his buddy's from school play on an indoor soccer team that Mike coaches.  They were asked by another team to play before the Ambush soccer game.  To say the boys were excited was an understatement!  They thought they were a big deal- and so did we!!  After the game we stayed and watched the Ambush play.  Such a fun night with friends!  Way to go Connor!

Happy Birthday, Mom!

This week my mom celebrated her 70th birthday-- even though she looks way younger.  We decided to celebrate with an adult dinner making Lebanese food.  What a fun way to celebrate our Mom! She never ceases to amaze me and inspire me.  She has taught me more than anyone else I've known.  She will probably never know how much I love her and appreciate her! Happy birthday, Mom!  We love you!!

St. Louis Weather

Connor had the day off of school and spent the morning at the zoo with his buddy.  We met them for a picnic lunch because to was close to 70 degrees out and gorgeous!  5 days later we were hit with 5 inches of snow!!  Seriously!

Happy Valentine's Day!

We are not ones to go all out for Valentine's Day.  However, we did have a lovely day!  After church we gave the boys their little gifts and spent the morning sledding-- I think Mike and I had more fun than the boys!  Then we just enjoyed a cozy afternoon together.  I love all 3 of my Valentine's every day- so, so much!!

Three Little Piggy Opera

Connor performed in his Three Little Piggy Opera at school.  He was in the chorus and all the kids did a great job!  It was a very cute performance- I was very impressed!  Connor had been talking about the performance all week and you could see how proud he was in his face-- I was so proud of him too!
